We are Eco Dfndrs. We create, share and collaborate on ideas to get our message out. We don’t just say we care for our environment, we do more. We make films to open people’s eyes, start conversations and inspire action.

Ella loves: acting, singing, writing songs, playing the ukulele, painting, drawing, and swimming.

Franny loves: writing, living a creative life and making positive change in the world.

Marin loves: swimming at all the amazing beaches on Hornby Island where she lives, and meeting awesome people!
Miranda loves: horseback riding, volleyball, track, protecting salmon.

Portia loves: listening to music, playing hockey and dirt biking.

Each summer, environmental activists aged 12–15 are invited to join us for a one week all expenses paid Environmental Action Camp on Denman Island, BC. Spend a week creating compelling media – music, drama, documentary, and dance – all with a focus on defending the environment.Learn more about camp
